FYI kriek is a lambic sour beer with cherries. Belgian brewers and American brewers agree that “lambic” is made exclusively in Belgium (like the name champagne). The big growth of sour brewing popularity in America is being called wild ale, or spontaneous fermentation. This does not apply to Gose or Berliner weisse.
