Finally trying to catch up on your reviews, and I was glad to see that Backwoods Bastard scored so well with you guys. You asked at the end of the video of any other Scotch Ale your viewers might recommend, and I would highly recommend dark Horse Scotty Karate. I live in southwestern Ohio and it’s readilly available. Plus coming in at 9.76% ABV it might be a little less boozy. It’s not barrel aged but another solid Wee Heavy.

I’ve seen Scotty Karate here in the Toledo area and just never tried it. Next time I go to the store I’ll pick some up.
