If you live in Northwestern Ohio and you are a homebrewer, you probably know how hard it is to find a good homebrew store. I got used to driving over an hour and a half to get to a good store before stumbling upon Titgemeiers in Toledo.
Titgemeier’s is a combination garden store and homebrew shop — seemingly unrelated but amazingly connected. Well, the guys at Titgemeier’s are now putting on an awesome event teaching YOU how to homebrew!
Here are the details you need to know:
WHAT: Learn to homebrew class for both new and experienced homebrewers. It is FREE to attend, and will be taught by members of the Glass City Mashers homebrew club. In this class you’ll learn the three most common brewing techniques, and you’ll have to chance to ask the Glass City Mashers any burning questions you have.
WHERE: Titgemeier’s 701 Western Ave. Toledo, OH
WHEN: Saturday November 1st, 2014
9 A.M. – All grain on an advanced homebrew system
10 A.M. – Extract kits
11 A.M. – All grain on a typical homebrew system
Also at 11 A.M. – Partial Mash
1 P.M. – Extract Kit
If we weren’t busy with the King of Ohio IPA challenge, you can be sure that Ron and I would be attending this class. If you’ve ever even considered brewing, stop in to Titgemeier’s, you won’t regret it.
Nope, 11 a.m. for the 2 “classes” is the plan. Thanks for posting this!
Thanks for letting me know, I’ll change it. I probably should have asked you beforehand, my bad!
